In recent years, China's medical dressing industry has maintained a high-speed development, and its export has always accounted for more than 20% of the world's total export of medical dressings. As China is a big traditional textile country, and also the world's largest cotton producer, consumer and importer, cotton yarn production is large, textile industry chain is relatively perfect, has a good industrial cluster advantage.

The demand for international medical dressings will continue to grow as the global aging population and the resulting growth in patients with ulcers, bedsores and other illnesses, according to industry analysts at Shangpu Consulting. In 2013, China's medical dressing exports totaled 2.381 billion US dollars, an increase of 3.94%, accounting for 12.31% of the export of medical devices. In the first half of 2014, the total export of medical dressings in China was $1 billion 254 million, an increase of 10.84% over the same period last year.
